You have questions, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) has the answers.

Your first question may be, what is OAC? Oracle Analytics Cloud is a single platform that empowers your entire organization to ask any question of any data in any environment on any device.[1]
It’s a Cloud solution that is designed to let users spend their time working with answers instead of maintaining a system. With OAC you can provide charts, graphs, and easy to understand visualizations which meet people where they are, on the device they use, providing a common “truth” across the enterprise.

On March 15th, Sierra-Cedar will present detailed information about configuration, service provisioning, security, and on-premise Essbase cube migration options, including advanced features like managing users/roles, Single Sign-On (SSO), web browsers, security troubleshooting, and managing log files. You have a huge amount of control over your OAC service; you control the available CPUs, memory allocation, and disk space. These things aren’t controlled by someone far away, and when you need more, you can allocate the increase directly from your office. You gain control and can manage your costs. It’s a win-win scenario.

Sierra-Cedar will also review leading practices – like when is the best time to migrate your Essbase cubes and security filters to OAC Essbase. We’ll show you how to do this with the Essbase LCM utility and the Cube Designer workbook utility. Our presenters will also show you how to manage ongoing bulk maintenance of Essbase users and security filters using the Essbase Command Line Interface and MAXL scripting.
If you’re a beginner, like me, or an expert like the presenters, you’ll find valuable take-aways in this presentation. (I really should call it a training session, since it presents how-tos and pros & cons so you can immediately see the value of OAC.)
Send me an email, and tell me what you learned, and I’ll send you a Starbucks card as a thank you, limited to the first 10 emails. .
Join us for the first installment on Thursday, March 15th at 1 pm EDT. You can register for the series here: Jump-Start Your Cloud Journey with Sierra-Cedar and Oracle Analytics Cloud. And yes, its free. No obligation!
