Workday selected Sierra-Cedar to host the first-ever face-to-face meeting of the Nationwide Public Sector User Group during Workday Rising in Las Vegas on October 3, 2018. Over 80 guests from 27 organizations—ranging from cities, counties, school districts, states, and laboratories—attended a luncheon which provided clients with the valuable opportunity to meet, network, and brainstorm. Attendees gained additional insights by sharing areas of expertise and highlights from the overall conference and individual project successes.
“I just wanted to say GREAT JOB on coordinating this year’s government sector lunch/meet up at Border Grill. The two simple things of 1) having a dedicated venue to host the lunch and 2) grouping tables by area of expertise made the biggest difference. I was fortunate enough to have a variety of customers at different stages at my table—prospects, customers currently implementing Workday, and those who are already live on Workday. It was so great to exchange stories about our experiences during each of those phases and help those out who are coming on board.”
Patrick Enriquez, County of San Mateo
“I’d like to thank Sierra-Cedar for the tremendous lunch opportunity to meet some peers through our Workday experiences. The time to connect with other colleagues from around the U.S., to share, learn and grow, was as valuable as a regular conference session. Building a professional network at lunch helps us all to be more successful.”
Rick Tanski, Academy School District 20
