About Matt Luby
Matt Luby has over ten years of both functional and technical experience in all aspects of the project lifecycle including planning and design, functional requirements gathering, prototyping, system testing, and production support with an emphasis on higher education and academic medical centers. He has a proven track record in fostering collaboration and communication across functional areas and management levels within an institution, emphasizing the full cradle to grave business process to deliver a successful project to all stakeholders involved. In his role as Senior Consultant with Sierra-Cedar, he has developed a breadth of knowledge in research administration from award proposal to award closeout, with deep knowledge in effort certification requirements for federal grant funding. He has been the functional lead and project manager for implementations of the Sierra-Cedar Effort Reporting Toolkit for several Top 25 federally funded research universities. Despite spending so many days each year on the road, Matt loves to travel abroad. So far Italy, with its delectable cuisine, is his all-time favorite destination.
